January 23, 2017

Yeeey! Three weeks left for Valentine’s Day! So here we are, looking for new ways to wrap a lovely gift. So, we are going to take a look to this video made by Enfemenino Tendencias where she shows us a couple of nice ways to wrap a present making a kimono and a shirt with tie.

To make this envelope, you will need:

  • Wrapping paper (printed and plain)
  •  Ribbons
  •  Scissors
  •  Double sided tape
  •  Tape
  •  Ruler

As you can see on the tutorial, the first one is a wrapping that simulates be a kimono for her. It’s simple but you have to pay attention to the steps. The key is that you are making a sort of “fishtail” with the paper. To finish it, it’s important to put the ribbon around the gift and make a big bow with it, wich would the the kimono’s belt. Finally, you can add a flower inside the kimono.

The second one is a special wrapping for him that simultes to be a shirt with a tie. The most important part is the collar, where you have to put the ribbon because after it would be the tie. It would be nice to cut the ribbon following the usual tie shape and fix it with double sided tape to add some movement.

Do you like it? We think that it’s an original an cute way to wrap a Valentine’s Day Gift, so we encourage you to try to make it!

See you soon!
