You may also know Furoshiki technique, the japanese art that consists in wrapping objets or gifts using clothes and knots.
In my opinion, it makes the present more valious and the fabric itself it’s also a gift. Today we encourage you to watch this video by Empaquetando Ando to learn how to wrap a box, like a smartbox, using furoshiki and with just onke knot, perfect for begginers. Here we go!
Hi everyone! Today we want to face a common problem when you have to wrap a odd-shaped gift…. How yo make it without break the paper? Well, today we are going to watch a video tutorial to learn how to wrap a cone-shaped gift, as a Fofucha doll. So, let’s go!
Empaquetando Ando tell us that the best way is making a bag with the wrapping paper. So, first of all, you have to make a big rectangle and blend one end like a rhombus to make the bag base. Use tape to fix it. Then, you put de cone-shaped gift inside and, on the other end, you fold it twice, make two small holes using a paper piercer and pass through these holes a ribbon or a lace to create a handle or a bow.
So that is it! You have a perfect shaped wrapped present!
Hi everyone and welcome to my new blog How to Wrap a gift! This blog, as his name says, it’s about different ways, materials and techniques to wrap a present. Sometimes, the envelope is better and most important than the gift itself beucase it shows the care you put on it, not only the money you have spent.
One of the most demanded tutorials is how to wrap a gift using cellophane. Usually it’s a transparent and rigid material and is not very easy to work with. However, there are differents tricks to make it easier, as we can see in this video tutorial by CraftyElfWorkshop
Cellophane paper is used to wrap baskets (with food or beauty products) because they are big and with a very particular shape. If we use gift paper, it would be broken so fast, so it’s recommended to use cellophane. We can use it to wrap a coffe or tea mug or even a candle holdes, as we see on the video.
Another improtant thing when you wrap a gift with cello it¡s the ribbon. You have to put one to tie the cello on the top and to decorate the envelope with a touch of colour.
In the following posts we are show you how to make a ribbon DIY in order to reach the perfect packaging, so pay attention!
